Specifications

Our cabinets are constructed from MFC Egger boards, which are renowned worldwide for their quality. Egger boards are a brilliant match for our doors.
Rigid Kitchens Online furniture uses 18mm MFC throughout, this includes both the shelves and back panel of base and wall units. All our cabinets are matching colours to our doors. This is for every range/colour and the units are then assembled using a glue and dowelled format.
Add to this the soft closing hinges and drawer boxes and you have a kitchen of real quality.
Please note that whatever the price of your kitchen the basics of Egger boards and soft close hinges remain the same.

Yes they will! The cabinets can be constructed from many different colours of board, we will match the door and cabinet colour where possible. If the colour of door does not have a similar cabinet colour you can best match the colours from our experience of supplying kitchens or you can express a colour of your choice from the available colours. Should you have any special requests please email us at sales@rigidkitchensonline.com. If you have a particular colour in mind for the doors, i.e. a Farrow and Ball or a Dulux colour, then this can be supplied to you for the frontages, plinths and accessories at no extra charge.
Open units are constructed from the same 18mm MFC material as the normal ‘closed’ cabinets and will have the same finish on both the inside and outside of the units. Please bear in mind that the finish on the open units will show once installed so this makes choosing your cabinet colour very important. The finish on the doors and the units is a great match. The doors, however, are painted and the cabinets are made of MFC material.

Planning Your Dream Kitchen

We have made this equally simple for you! Just click on the items required and the amount required and then check it! Once you have checked it then click through to the checkout to place the order..
Once you have gone through the payment process (this is equally easy) then you will get a confirmation email along with an invoice.
A delivery note will then be sent to you stating the date your furniture is due to be delivered. Please check this too and contact us with any queries.
Yes our furniture is sturdy enough to withstand granite, Corian, wooden or natural stone worktops. Take a look at our granite and quartz products on the site. Look for the Great Deal logo which are specially priced quartz.
1. An Undermounted sink
It is placed into a kitchen unit that allows the sink to sit underneath the granite worktop. This allows you to get the most from your granite and see the edges that drop off into the sink. The other benefit of a granite worktop is that you do not need to buy a draining board attached to the sink. Instead, you can have the draining board grooves cut straight into the granite worktop, giving you a stylish worktop as well as more work space when required.
2. An Inset sink
An inset sink sits on top of the granite and has its own draining board. If you choose this type of sink then you need to let the supplier cutting your granite top know which sink and taps you are having in order for them to cut the holes correctly before supplying the worktop.
3. A Belfast Sink
A Belfast sink is a real statement piece. It is a ceramic sink which sits on top of a kitchen unit and butts up to the underside of the granite. These sinks can look incredibly stylish.
This is possible providing the order has not gone into production. If it has you will be made liable for the costs.
Delivery for a full kitchen is free with Rigid Kitchens Online for mainland Britain. A full kitchen is an order with at least £1000 of furniture which excludes worktops, sinks, plinths and cornices.
For kitchens less than this amount then please contact us for a delivery quote, but usually the cost is £90.
Two man delivery is standard with us! If, however, you live in somewhere difficult to reach or up lots of steps then please contact us prior to ordering.
Kitchen fitting is not for the fainthearted! We do recommend that a qualified kitchen fitter is used even though our units are supplied fully rigid with the doors and drawers fitted. It is important to remember that kitchen fitting is a specialised service so a good idea would be to go through check-a-trade or similar trade services. Please ensure that you use a Gas Safe engineer for any gas works and a fully qualified electrician for any electrical works.

It is very rare for the furniture to be damaged upon delivery. We give you 48 hours to check and then contact us to inform us of the issue.  Please take a photograph of the damage and send it to us.
We will then review the damage and once we have agreed the replacement this will be issued to you.
This could be delivered by courier if it is financially viable to do so.
Of course. We relish feedback as it gives us an opportunity to grow and improve. Any feedback is welcome and you can give us feedback via Trustpilot on our website and on Facebook. We may also contact you to ask you to make a video of your experience for our website.

Technical FAQ’s

Voids are areas invisible to the naked eye once the kitchen worktop has been placed on top of the kitchen base units. areas are necessary for every kitchen and are used to conceal waste pipes and any kind of wiring that needs to be hidden out of the way. It is important when measuring a kitchen to add the void area into the measurements. The void in our base units is 42mm. The void on our wall units is 18mm.
This really depends on the look you wish to achieve and the style of door ordered. Budget also comes into play. The main thing to bear in mind is that if you order high gloss doors then the unit will be a matching colour IN A MATT FINISH. With gloss finishes then a gloss end panel is the better look.

What If?

This would be very unusual if the plan had been drawn up correctly and the fitter is a qualified/experienced. This is why we recommend a fully qualified kitchen fitter to install your kitchen. It is also essential that the plan is checked by the fitter to ensure that it WILL fit. If you require us to do the plan for you then we are currently offering a free planning service. We will come to your site and do the planning work for you and work with you to show your kitchen ideas.

Examples of these are:
Built Under Integrated/Semi-Integrated Dishwashers
Built Under Integrated Washing Machine/Washer Dryer/Fridge/Freezer/Double Oven
Built in appliances will usually require a housing to support them.
Examples of these are:
Built in Integrated Single Oven/ Integrated Microwave / Combi Microwave / Steam Oven/ Integrated Tall Larder Fridge / Tall Freezer / Tall Fridge Freezer/ In Column Larder Fridge / In Column Freezer
