Surface: High polished surface with delicate brown background and horizontal light mostly white veins and streaking

Rippled Mink has a very delicate brown foundation with varying shades of light coloured veins that are horizontal in direction and mostly white in appearance.  Flowing in the opposing direction of the marvellously light veins is a streaking which magically distorts the overall appearance.

This stone is naturally metamorphic rock and not, like granite, an igneous rock. It is formed when quartz-rich sandstone is converted into quartzite by immense heat and pressure caused by tectonic compression.  A polished finish though makes this captivating stone much more appealing, absorbing all available light and reflecting the full depth of colour that this material boasts.

It is and easy to maintain this worktop and durable
